lgbt+ kids & teens

my clinical training began with lgbt+ youth in Los Angeles and virtually throughout California. the relationships i’ve built with my adolescent clients over the years are sacred.

I’ve worked with queer and trans youth who until therapy had yet to meet a trans or non-binary adult. I’ve seen children of queer and trans parents, as well as families focused on learning more about their queer or gender expansive child.

I love to meet kids and teens where they’re at and learn about their outer world - the shows and movies they’re watching, music they love, memes, books, video games, the art they’re making, and their friends. I find this helps build a relational channel into their inner world where we can talk about things like stress, burnout, gender dysphoria, neurodivergence, family, and the heaviness of being a queer and/or trans youth in this moment. together, we grieve the darker moments of the present and envision the future.
