ocd therapy

obsessive-compulsive disorder often gets missed. it can go undetected for years if it doesn’t “look like” the classic symptoms and compulsions. in my training on ocd, I’ve learned that there are far more themes of ocd than the most infamous (contamination, harm, etc), including those with invisible compulsions. clients often come to me looking for support with extreme relational anxiety based on fear of who they could be, even unbeknownst to themself. using ICBT (inference-based cognitive behavioral therapy), we will dissect the stories of those fears and how to combat them to find more peace in your life. if the treatment requires exposure therapy, we can also create a custom treatment plan incorporating ERP (exposure response prevention).
