It’s become clear to me that over the many years of being in queer and trans community, we are here to change the world. and yet, the world consistently fights us back time and time again. In my work as a therapist, I’ve found supporting other lgbt+ people to be a vocation - less a career, maybe more of a calling.

I’ve worked with lgbt+ folks in all stages of their identity formation, from coming out to feeling tired and frustrated with their longtime community. I believe that identity constantly shifts and changes, and so do feelings about ourselves and community. we will begin right where you are.

many of my clients also come to therapy with a solid relationship to their queer identity. they are looking to process with the support of a therapist who doesn’t require the labor of your education on sexuality and/or gender. be it anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships - they are looking for someone who has lived the queer existence to understand their story with a specialized lens.
